About Croatia
Croatia is a country with thousand islands, blue and crystal clear Adriatic Sea, which is probably the first thought of the most people who want to visit Croatia. Croatia, however, relatively small, is still much more than that. It is a country in which the mix of climate, reliefs and cultural influences of various nations is very ingenious. Most people come to Croatia for its beautiful sea and miles of clean and untouched beaches. There are so many towns and places where you can stay and enjoy in your holidays. Croatia has a great range of private accommodation; apartments, rooms and houses for rent. You can find apartments for rent in every place on the coast. These capacities make 40% out of all tourist beds on the Adriatic. Even for 15-20 euros per person you can find good quality accommodation. If you rent an apartment means that you have at your disposal equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. If you do not want to cook there are numerous restaurants at your disposal which are found everywhere. Here you can taste traditional cuisine and good wines of Croatia. If you want to stay in a hotel there are large number of hotels and resort hotels, family hotels of different grades, all at your disposal . Croatia has a great offer of camps. It is a special pleasure to hire boat, or yacht and sail the Adriatic Sea and visit the bays and islands. We have a large number of charter boats in our offer. Lots of people choose a cruise on a wooden sailing ships that sail on the agreed routes and visit the most attractive places on the coast. Choose a place for travel between the numerous islands, Rivieras, cities and towns can be very difficult. There is Istria on the northern part of the coast, a peninsula on which developed a tourism with centuries-old tradition. Istrian gems on the coast are Umag, Novigrad, Porec, Vrsar, Rovinj, Pula and Rabac. Tourism in Istria has been spreading also in the interior of the peninsula and that is why Istria is often called Croatian Tuscany. Many estates, villas with pools, hotels, apartments, wine routes are there at your disposal and golf courses will be finished soon. Islands of Krk, Cres, Rab and Losinj, and islets of Briuni archipelago have settled on the istrian coast. As we go down to the south we find tourist center of Opatija, Crikvenica, Novi Vinodolski, Senj and then we come to the island of Pag and its centeres; Novalja and Pag. In addition to Novalja there is Zrce with clubs and bars where fun accompanied wirh the sounds of club music and performances of many DJ's is available 24 hours a day. From Pag you can still go down south and enter into Dalmatia. Dalmatia is dominated by four large cities; Zadar, Split, Sibenik and Dubrovnik. These cities are rich in history that have left a legacy of many historical buildings, such as the Diocletian Palace in Split, and the walls of the old town of Dubrovnik. Zadar, Sibenik and Split are only recently turning to tourism, building the city hotels and increasing the number of beds in private rooms and apartments. Staying in them can be very attractive because you feel the mixture of the atmosphere of a big city with shopping malls, many shops, clubs and events and yet on the other side, the beach waiting for you with the crowd of swimmers and the smell of the Mediterranean. Besides that it is not a problem to hop to the nearby islands on a trip. What to say about Dubrovnik, a city with a complex thousands years long history and preserved walls famous all over the world. Such wealth of historical heritage in one place is a must. The high culture of tourism is present for many years in Dubrovnik. Dalmatia is a region of beautiful nature, both on the coast, so in its interior. Murter, Ciovo, Brac, Solta, Hvar, Vis, Korcula, Mljet, Lastovo, Zadar islands, Pasman, Ugljan, Dugi Otok and a range of smaller islands are a real pearl with Mediterranean vegetation, and its blue bays and beaches. We must mention the National Park of Kornati with its beautiful archipelago, heaven for charter sailing. In the interior, do not miss to visit the Plitvice lakes, the river Krka, Velebit mountain-unique parks of nature. There are a whole series of towns and places on the Dalmatian coast, but we will allocate Biograd, Pakostane near Zadar, Vodice and Primosten on the Riviera Sibenik, and Trogir, a town rich in history in the vicinity of Split and Omis which was the town of pirates in the past. Also you have to visit places on Makarska Riviera, with long sandy beaches: Brela, Baska Voda, Makarska, Tucepi. The most famous destinations on the islands are the town of Murter on Murter, Bol and Supetar on Brac, Hvar Town, Jelsa and Stari Grad on the island of Hvar, Vis and Komiža on the island of Vis, the old town of Korcula and Vela Luka on the island of Korcula, and there is Orebic on the top of peninsula Peljesac. If you are interested in entertainment, we recommend Novalja, Zadar, Vodice, Split, Hvar and Makarska town that does not mean that in another place you will not find a bar or club where you can have a good time. The Croatian coast in the summer blooms with life, visited by millions of tourists, but it is not so crowded that you can't find an intimate corner for yourself, especially on the islands.
